Singer Ciara O'Neill on getting uncomfortably honest in her latest songs

Ciara O'Neill's new EP, Woman, finds the singer being her most vulnerable ever, and Bangor businesswoman Tina Lannin on deafness, business, cochlear implants and race car driving.

Why does everyone feel they can comment on your life? Singer Ciara O'Neill's new EP "Woman" is fed up with being asked when is she getting married? or when is she having kids? "I was exhausted from feeling I wasn't enough" Ciara told Lynette. She performs two tracks in studio "Woman" which she says "is one of the most honest vulnerable songs I've ever written" and "Mother". No chance of this Co Armagh woman being lost to history.
And Tina Lannin is a powerhouse of a woman. Born deaf into a hearing family in Bangor, she now runs a global business doing live captions for the likes of Disney & Sky, 121 Captions, and in her spare time she loves nothing better than getting behind the wheel of a racing car, taking out the cochlear implants and driving fast! Two powerful local women making themselves heard.
