Gary Davies sits in and BAFTA-nominated actor Daniel Mays chooses his Tracks Of My Years.

Daniel made his debut in EastEnders in 2000 before getting his big break in 2002 when Mike Leigh cast him in his two films, ‘All Or Nothing’ and ‘Vera Drake’. He's since gone on to star as Eddie O’Grady in ‘Made in Dagenham’, Sergeant Danny Waldron in ‘Line of Duty’ and, more recently, the voice of Fetcher in ‘Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget’.

On stage, Daniel is currently starring as Nathan Detroit in ‘Guys & Dolls’ at the Bridge Theatre in London. The cast will be featuring in ‘The National Lottery’s Big Night Of Musicals’ at the A.O Arena in Manchester on 22nd January, with the night being shown at a later date on 91Èȱ¬ 1 and here on Radio 2.

Daniel's two tracks today are from Shakin' Stevens and Dire Straits.

Plus there's Claim to Fame, De Ja Woo, the Record and Album Of The Week, and the mid-morning music quiz, Ten To The Top.

Whatever you're up to, Gary wants to hear from you. And if you’d like to apply to take part in Ten To The Top, the address you need is tentothetop@bbc.co.uk
