Asian Network鈥檚 Bobby Friction retraces Sidhu Moose Wala鈥檚 journey from Punjabi folk singer to trailblazing hip-hop artist, speaking to his contemporaries, friends and industry peers about the man, his music and his legacy.

In part two Bobby Friction looks at how Sidhu鈥檚 collaborations helped him transform from a traditional Punjabi artist to one who works across genres and fanbases. Hear how he explored different sounds and topics.

Sidhu鈥檚 story unfolds over three episodes, from his beginnings as a lyricist-for-hire to his award-winning international collaborations with artists such as Raja Kumari, Mist, Steel Bangles and Stefflon Don. The documentary also explores the cultural and political influences - and controversies - that informed his life and songs.

One year on from Sidhu鈥檚 death, we reflect on his unique voice and sound, and the imprint he has left on the South Asian music scene.
