Asian Network鈥檚 Bobby Friction retraces Sidhu Moose Wala鈥檚 journey from Punjabi folk singer to trailblazing hip-hop artist, speaking to his contemporaries, friends and industry peers about the man, his music, and his legacy.

In part one, the story focuses on Sidhu鈥檚 musical beginnings and the impact that his move as an international student to Brampton, Ontario in Canada had on his songwriting and style. Sidhu started out as a folk singer and lyricist-for-hire but something about the way he wrote, how he expressed himself and his unique aesthetic made him stand out.
