A Scottish Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication
Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla attend a special service in St Giles’ Cathedral for the presentation of the Honours of Scotland.
The King and Queen are in Edinburgh for the presentation of the Honours of Scotland. Sally Magnusson and James Naughtie guide you through the ceremonial events as Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, together with the Prince and Princess of Wales, attend a special service in St Giles’ Cathedral. There will be music from Nicola Benedetti, Karen Cargill, the National Youth Choir of Scotland and many more. A people’s and honours’ procession from Edinburgh Castle to St Giles’ will feature a tri-service guard of honour, marching pipes and drums, as well as Corporal Cruachan IV, the official Shetland pony mascot of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Both the Household Cavalry and the Red Arrows will add to the colour and spectacle of this historic occasion.
