An exclusive 30 minute mix from Floyd Lavine followed by a 30 minute mix from Tom. He recently released 'The Afrofuturists' EP, the first V/A on his label Afrikan Tales.
Floyd Lavine is a Berlin based, South African born DJ and producer. He's dubbed his sound Afrofuturistic techno funk. He moved to Berlin in 2016, and co-founded the collective RISE, which was instrumental in developing Afro House in the city.
Last year, he launched his label Afrikan Tales, which was set up to not only showcase Floyd’s work, but also others from Africa or the African diaspora who have been inspired by the continent. To date he's released his 2 ‘Storytellers’ EPs on the label, before 'The Afrofuturists' EP.
