Tom chats to duo Persher and Floyd Lavine ahead of his mix in The Ravers Hour.
Persher is the new project from producers Arthur Cayzer (Pariah) and Jamie Roberts (Blawan). They've just released their debut album 'Man With The Magic Soap'.
Floyd Lavine is a Berlin based, South African born DJ and producer. He's dubbed his sound Afrofuturistic techno funk. He moved to Berlin in 2016 and co-founded the collective RISE, which was instrumental in developing Afro House in the city.
Last year he launched his label Afrikan Tales, which was set up to not only showcase Floyd鈥檚 work but also others from Africa or the African diaspora who have been inspired by the continent. To date he's released his 2 鈥楽torytellers鈥� EPs on the label, before 'The Afrofuturists' EP.
