The Far Right's appropriation of Norse symbols and myths; why the Abortion debate has become a moral and political battleground; how music can change lives and Trishna Singh OBE.

From the gangs of Glasgow鈥檚 east end to the tunnels of the Vietnam War; John Keaveney shares his remarkable story with Connie McLaughlin, which includes a spell in a US prison and being awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal from President Barack Obama.

Far Right groups have increasingly been co-opting Norse symbols and mythology in recent years. Tom Birkett, lecturer in Old English at University College Cork, explains why they are appropriating this era in history and how films like the soon to be released Thor: Love and Thunder can counter such narratives.

From the little Italian Chapel in Orkney to the historic High Kirk of Edinburgh, Scotland is blessed with an abundance of beautiful churches - but could any win a National Church Award? Sara Crofts, of the Places of Worship Forum, and writer and broadcaster Richard Holloway, give their thoughts on this new award and why so many church buildings continue to capture our hearts.

With ongoing controversy over the decision to overturn the famous Roe v Wade ruling, former Bishop Of Edinburgh Richard Holloway and Dr Lizzie Evens, PHD in History of Gender, Medicine and Policing at the UCL Institute of the Americas, discuss how the United States has got to this point and why the abortion debate has become such a fierce moral battleground.

In 2012, Stirling鈥檚 Raploch estate hosted a concert that featured local children performing with Venezuela's famous Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra, as part of an experimental programme called Big Noise. Sistema Scotland now runs five Big Noise programmes across the country, but what impact can music or the arts have on children from disadvantaged backgrounds? Founder of Sistema Scotland, Richard Holloway, William Stewart who played cello in that 2012 concert and community arts specialist Ruth Rankin explore how the arts can help young people to reach their full potential.

Trishna Singh OBE joins Connie to speak about her memoir, A Silent Voice Speaks, which looks at the realities of growing up Sikh in Scotland and the obstacles that she worked hard to overcome; an inspirational story that will resonate with women who have ever faced barriers because of their gender or ethnicity.
