Summer is over, but Peter is already preparing for the next growing season. Tha’n samhradh seachad ach tha Pà druig a’deasachadh airson rà ithe fàs na h-ath-bhliadhna.
It is autumn and the growing season has come to an end. To prepare for next year, Peter saves the seeds from his tomatoes, so they’ll be ready to replant again. He then checks to see how Una and Criosaidh got on with their pumpkin and they make some scary lanterns in time for Halloween.
There are still jobs to be done at the hut, so Peter heads for Argyll. He stops en route to pick up some willow to make a wee house for Seòras – and get some handy tips!
Coinneach uses hand-picked hazelnuts to make a chocolatey treat for Peter’s young cousins, while they finally sample their bramble infused whisky and toast to another successful year in the garden.
