Documentary telling the story of how the death of a Newry man led to his family setting up a charity which has repatriated the bodies of over 1,000 loved ones who have died abroad back to Ireland.

Nuair a cailleadh Kevin Bell go tubaisteach i Nua-Eabhrac i 2013, bhí a chlann croíbhriste ag iarraidh a chorp a thabhairt chun a’ bhaile chomh gasta agus ab fhéidir. Tháinig muintir an Iúir le chéile le hairgead a bhailiú le cuidiú le clann Bell. Bailíodh níos mó airgid ná mar a bhí de dhíth le corp Kevin a thabhairt abhaile agus baineadh úsáid as an airgead breise leis an charthanacht The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust a bhunú. Ó shin i leith, tá breis agus 1,000 duine a fuair bás thar lear tugtha ar ais go hÉirinn. Insítear scéal Kevin Bell sa chlár seo, chomh maith le scéalta chuid de na ndaoine ar chuidigh an tIontaobhas leo. Cuireann na teaghlaigh síos ar an bhrón a mhothaigh siad nuair a fuair ball clainne bás go tobann thar lear, agus na fadhbanna breise a bhí le sárú. Bhunaigh tuismitheoirí Kevin, Colin agus Eithne Bell an charthanacht agus míníonn siad an tacaíocht a bhí ar fáil ag teaghlaigh in am an ghá.

When a young man from Newry, Kevin Bell, died tragically in New York in 2013, his grieving family were desperate to get his body home as quickly as possible. The people of Newry came together to raise money to help the Bell family. More money was raised than was needed to bring Kevin home and so the rest of money was used to set up a charity, The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. The Trust has now repatriated the bodies of over 1,000 loved ones back to Ireland. This programme tells the story of Kevin Bell and of some of the people the Trust has repatriated. Their loved ones tell of the heartache of losing someone suddenly and the extra complications which are involved when a relative dies abroad. Colin and Eithne Bell, who set up the charity in memory of their son, describe how it has been able to assist families in their time of need.
