This week she hears from saxophonist Charlie Gabriel, who's played with Lionel Hampton, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and a young Charlie Mingus. Charlie has been a member of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band since 2006 and released his debut album 89 via Sub Pop in February 2022.
