Cerys hand picks you three hours of music from around the world for the perfect eclectic Sunday vibe. Expect some retro Japanese jazz, some Nina Simone intertwined with new music from Altin Gun, Yin Yin and Pictish Trail as well as a repeat session from Cerys' young Welsh artist to watch: Cerys Hafana.

This week Cerys welcomes Mona Arshi to The Poet Tree to discuss her influences, inspirations and the relationship between poetry and lyrics. Mona Arshi was suggested by our previous guest on The Poet Tree, Roger Robinson. Mona worked as a human rights lawyer before she started writing poetry. Her debut collection Small Hands won the Forward Prize for best collection in 2015. Her debut novel Somebody Loves You was published in November 2021.

Plus arts and culture broadcaster Nikki Bedi pays tribute to the late Lata Mangeshkar. Nikki started her career in Mumbai as a stage and film actress before moving into presenting.
