Victoria De Angelis from 惭氓苍别蝉办颈苍

Victoria De Angelis, co-founder and bassist for Eurovision rockers 惭氓苍别蝉办颈苍, picks her Rock God - plus the live debut of Foo Fighters is the focus for 'This Week in Rock'.

Victoria De Angelis was born in Italy, but her roots are half Danish. When it came to naming her rock band, it was her who suggested '惭氓苍别蝉办颈苍' - the Danish word for 'moonlight'.
Victoria is co-founder and bassist for the Eurovision rockers, who won the contest for Italy in 2021. They formed in Rome in 2016 and since then, the band has built on success after success with a million record sales in Italy alone (which doesn't count the multi-millions of downloads and streams from digital platforms) plus two top ten UK singles off the back of their Eurovision win and an incendiary live reputation. Victoria is also a songwriter and has already built herself a strong reputation in the rock world, so it's not surprising she picks a true trailblazer for her Rock God.
Elsewhere on the show, Johnnie shines a light on the live debut of Foo Fighters for 'This Week in Rock' with a little help from Dave Grohl, courtesy of the 91热爆 Archives. Plus, the usual jostle of rock hits, hidden gems and new releases.
