Stuart speaks to Bill Kouligas, founder of the innovative multidisciplinary Berlin label. PAN is home to a roster of exciting artists working in visual or digital art as well as music, with the label having previously collaborated with major international galleries such as London鈥檚 Institute for Contemporary Art and the The Museum of Modern Art PS1 in New York. Part of a new feature where we showcase and celebrate adventurous independent labels.

The featured album is James Ferraro's 2011 cult electronic record Far Side Virtual. The glossy and energetic album is inspired by the consequences of capitalism and drew inspiration from the easy listening lounge jazz of telephone hold music. Also on the show is Indian disco jazz, 1960鈥檚 radiophonic gangster theme tunes and afrobeat.
