Episode 3
Having been transferred out of a busy A&E ward where she felt out of her depth, Lacey feels ready to return, but she needs mentor Beverley's agreement.
Fabie is a newly qualified nurse with ongoing confidence issues. She struggled to cope with life in the one of the busiest A&E departments in the UK and has been moved to the surgical assessment unit in an attempt to protect her mental wellbeing and save her career. Mentor Maxine helps Fabie focus on the positive, but when Maxine summons Fabie to a meeting so she can share a letter from a patient, will it contain the positive feedback needed to turn the situation around?
Lacey is being mentored by Beverley, the lead senior mentor in the scheme, but Lacey also had to move from the A&E department because she felt rushed and out of her depth. After an initial move to a quieter ward where she has developed more key nursing competencies, Lacey feels ready for a move back to A&E 鈥 but she has to wait for Beverley to grant her wish.
