Chardonnay: Sunny and silky gently oaked Aussie Chardy, the bread needs a white with body as well as a savoury twist, Yarra is amazing for this style of wine north of Melbourne with loads of hills facing north (remember southern hemisphere so north is warm). Aussie Chardonnays are widely available but decent value too from Chile in the supermarkets.

Anna’s Doughnuts:
l'Or du Ciron Sauternes, 2010

Sauternes: luscious, richly textured made from intense super ripe grapes in Bordeaux that are desiccated to make the wine taste sweet with a cleansing citrus flourish. For good value widely available similar wine, Australian Late Harvest Semillon wines are great, and most supermarkets have own labels.
