A trial week in Brisbane let them all see the sort of home, work opportunities and lifestyle Australia could offer them, but would it ultimately mean tearing the family apart? Salaman Family Update
It has been an interesting year in Australia for the Salaman family.
Elizabeth now works for The Flight Centre in their Travel Money Oz department. Stephen currently works at the Gold Coast airport as a Ramp Agent for Oceania Aviation.
Ally
arrived in June, and is working for St George bank as a telephone customer
service advisor. She has made some good friends and is quite enjoying herself
here.
Jacob left school in June. After attending a seven-week introduction course, he's now an apprentice roofer. He loves it, and is thriving! It's a big improvement for him, after struggling with the education system in the UK. He's also loving the outdoor lifestyle!
Naomi is enjoying school, taking part in a special school drama class. She also enjoy an out of school drama club. She has made some great friends and enjoys cycling to school.
The whole family love going to the beach and swimming in their pool! We hope Australia continues to be good to them.
