Malaysia Day 3
It’s day three of the girls' team adventure in Malaysia, learning to lion dance. Today is about arm strength, and presenter Camille sets a challenge involving trays of full drinks.
It’s day three of the girls’ team adventure in Malaysia, Southeast Asia, for sprinter Alesha, showjumper and runner Neisha, and rugby player and discus thrower Niamh. Watched over and cheered on by presenter Camille Ucan, they are here to learn the massively popular - and very tough - local sport of lion dancing. At the end of the week, they will compete in front of top local judges who will assess how many moves they have mastered.
Today’s training is about arm strength – you need to be strong to hold a 4kg lion’s head above your head and make it move at the same time. So, after a morning of training, literally using their heads, presenter Camille has an unusual challenge for the girls at the local night market - they have to become the world’s fastest waiters, racing through the crowds with trays of drinks above their heads. Their challenge to not spill a drop. What can possibly go wrong?
