Mary Anne has a live session from the artist and musician, Kojey Radical. We're currently loving latest release '2020', which is the second single from his forthcoming new album. The track unpicks the sometimes uncomfortable thought processes around Kojey鈥檚 personal ambition and resilience; the pressures to confirm and to navigate his way through society

Kojey explains further, saying: 鈥淲hat鈥檚 better, having hope or expectations? Many people feel so pressured by the expectations of others that it causes them to be frustrated, miserable and confused about what they should do. That was me, I had a million exceptions of what I should be, where I should be and when, instead of seeing the importance of having a vision. Now nothing can stop me. I鈥檓 in the year 2020鈥�

Kojey first came to our attention as a spoken words artist, making his debut live performance on 6 Music at our 2016 festival in Bristol. The multi-talented young Londoner works across a number of different artistic mediums, including film, fashion and music, He graduated from the London College of Fashion with a BA hons in Fashion Illustration. He released his first music project Dear Daisy in 2014.
