Jonny Greenwood joins us for a special session from the 91热爆's Maida Vale studios. From 12pm, Jonny will be performing an extract from his new sequence of classical music works.

Best known as the lead guitarist in Radiohead, Jonny recently began documenting the musicians he encounters in the contemporary classical world, many of whom he has become friends with since composing his first film soundtrack.

On this project, Jonny says: 'I鈥檝e decided to start documenting the musicians I encounter in the contemporary classical world. Since doing my first soundtrack, I鈥檝e become friends with lots of these remarkable musicians, as well as more familiar with the music they play. It鈥檚 a whole world out there. I鈥檓 only recording soloists, or small groups, and as it鈥檚 my party, including in the releases some of my own small ideas that have never been recorded, like 鈥�88鈥� (for solo piano), and 鈥楳iniatures from Water鈥� for piano, violin, string drone and tanpura.'

Ahead of his live performance, we'll be chatting to Jonny about the project, the pieces he's composed and his work outside of Radiohead.
