Kindness joins us in the 6 Music Live Room to play tracks from their 3rd album. The album is called 'Something Like A War', and is due for release on 6th September.

The track 'Hard to Believe' was playlisted here at 6 Music, much to our delight. 'Hard to Believe' features Jazmine Sullivan and written by both Kindness and Jazmine Sullivan, with Sampha also making a cheeky appearance on vocals on the outro.

The track was mixed by the late, great Philippe Zdar of Cassius. 'Something Like A War' comes after Kindness spent years collaborating with the likes of Robyn, Jazmine Sullivan, Seinabo Sey and Cosima among many others. It was recorded in several locations and entirely produced by Kindness.

The new album follows on from Kindness' second album 'Otherness', in the intervening year's they have co-produced five tracks on Solange鈥檚 album 'A Seat at the Table', and contributed production, writing, and vocals to Blood Orange鈥檚 'Freetown Sound' and 'Negro Swan' albums.
