Tom is joined in the studio by Australian percussionist, composer and producer Laurence Pike. He'll also share his Guest Mix. We鈥檙e feeling very lucky that this has happened. Laurence released his new album 鈥楬oly Spring鈥� back in May on the always reliable and always progressive Leaf Label (home to The Comet Is Coming, Caribou, Melt Yourself Down, Snapped Ankles, and Sarathy Korwar). Laurence also plays with PVT, Triosk or Szun Waves, and has collaborated with the likes of Liars, legendary jazz pianist Mike Nock, DD Dumbo, and the mighty Bill Callahan. One of the most interesting musicians around, and tonight he鈥檒l be talking, and then will let his music really tell us what he鈥檚 all about.
