Tom is joined in the studio by San Fran musician, composer, and producer Salami Rose Joe Louis. Following the tracks Cumulous Potion (For The Clouds To Sing) and Octagonal Room, we had to have a chat with her. Her new album 鈥榋denka 2080鈥� is released today on the supreme label Brainfeeder. She鈥檚 also supported Toro Y Moi on his 鈥淥uter Peace Tour鈥� earlier this year as well as The Cinematic Orchestra throughout Europe. We鈥檒l also have to ask her about her album titles as well, her 2017 LP was called 鈥榋laty Sauce Nephew鈥�.
Along with Salami, we have Ami Dang sharing her Guest Mix. The Baltimore based South Asian-American musician, sitarist, singer, and producer released her 3rd album Parted Plains at the beginning of the month and it鈥檚 not been off our turntables since. Fusing acoustic instruments with electronics is nothing new in the music world, but Ami manages to create undiscovered, enormous soundscapes which take your consciousness on a psychedelic journey.
