In the 1970s, 17-year-old Rose Reilly left Ayrshire, determined to realise her dream to play professional football. A World Cup winner in 1984 for Italy and named the best female footballer in the world in the same year, she made her dreams a reality. She also directed the RTS shortlisted Gothenburg 83 and Tartan Pride films, and the feature-length Jimmy Johnstone film, nominated for a Bronze Torc for Excellence at the Celtic Media Festival is 2017. Margot, from Glasgow and Rathlin Island, is the producer, writer and director of Rose Reilly.
