After the death of their mother, a group of siblings are torn apart during a long, dark night of mishaps and misunderstandings. Each must find their own way to come to terms with their grief through emotional and meteorological turbulence. Oldest brother Thomas stubbornly holds to a promise he has made to their mother, whilst younger siblings Michael and John, are embroiled in a dangerous and violent game of revenge, and Sheila, well Sheila just wants to get home.
