Mary Anne has a live session from Ibibio Sound Machine. Their third album Doko Mien, is out now on Merge Records. Doko Mien鈥� means 鈥楾ell Me鈥� in the Nigerian Ibibio language and this latest record is written in both Ibibio and English, with English featuring more prominently than on their previous album, 2017鈥檚 Uyai.

Frontwoman Eno Williams explains, saying: 鈥淢usic is a universal language, but spoken language can help you think about what makes you emotional鈥� We wanted to give people a reason to sing along鈥�
