Mary Anne has a Near Future session from one of our favourite new artists, Kenneth Whalum. The Memphis saxophonist, composer and singer who is much celebrated by Hip Hop's elite. His soulful sound has captured our ears and our hearts at 6 Music and we're were delighted to grab some studio time with him on one of his rare trips to the UK.

After working as a backing singer, he's now letting his own voice soar and if you listen to the harmonies on his recent track Ghost Town, which was Mary Anne's Recommends track at the end of March, you'll understand why we love him.
