Laugh? I nearly had a heart attack!
Aled Richards was 44 when he suffered a heart attack. Since recovering he’s turned his experience into a stand-up show which proves that laughter really is the best medicine.
As far as Aled Richards knew he was in good health – non-smoker, took exercise, drank in moderation – and then he suffered a heart attack. Since recovering, he has turned his difficult experience into a funny stand-up show. For World Heart Day 2018 Aled delivers that set, punctuated with contributions from a cardiologist, advice from the British Heart Foundation Cymru, and a chat with a good friend who was a year younger than Aled when he too suffered a heart attack.
