The assassinations of Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King in America, the huge street demonstrations against the Vietnam War, student unrest in Paris, London and Berlin, the Chicago Riots, the Prague Spring: all played out against a soundtrack of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and The Doors.
