Euan finds out how the Scottish Seabird Centre is teaming up with the Scottish Qualifications Agency to improve education in marine biology with a focus on rock pools.

Mark hears about the Rural Youth Project, an initiative designed to research and better understand rural young people aged 18- 28.

Ecologist Dr David Hetherington is Scotland's leading lynx specialist. Euan went to meet him and get his view on what a reintroduction of the species might look like in Scotland. He also finds out exactly what a lynx is and where they can currently be found.

Mark gets a tour of the Speyside Cooperage and Visitor Centre near Craigellachie where you can watch the whole process of a barrel being put together.

The Commonwealth Games take place on Australia's Gold Coast in just over a month's time. One of the sports in which Scotland has a tradition of success is shooting and this year, David McMath has been confirmed as a member of the 2018 team. Mark tries to smash some clays with David at the Central Scotland Shooting School near Falkirk.

The Hamilton Mausoleum is one of the finest private tombs in the country, and also a local landmark. It inspired musician Francis MacDonald to write an album of classical music. Mark visits the mausoleum and hears about how the album was created.

As part of the 2018 Year of the Young Person the Scottish Sea Bird Centre is offering a really exciting opportunity for a young person to get a seat on the management board of this national institution. Euan finds out more.
