Join Mark Stephen and Euan McIlwraith for the latest outdoor activities from Shetland to the Borders, plus the key stories for those who live and work in the countryside.

Over the coming weeks a team of experts will tour the country encouraging farmers to prepare for Brexit. Euan chats to senior economist at the SRUC Steven Thomson about why it's important to think ahead.

The Nature Friendly Farming Network provides a platform for members of the farming community to share their knowledge and spread the benefits of sustainable nature friendly farming at a national level. Mark visits a farm near Lockerbie that has joined the scheme to find out what's involved.

Euan finds out how threatened Juniper woodland in Perth is being saved.

At last week's NFUS Conference, Euan bumped into a Norwegian farmer who knows all too well about the risks that lynx pose to livestock. He tells Euan why Scotland should think carefully about a reintroduction.

Back in 2015 Euan and Mark found out about the Mull and Iona Food Trail. Since then it's grown from strength to strength as they found when they went back to visit.
Last week on the programme we heard from residents of the island of Ulva and members of the North West Mull Community Woodland Company who are in the process of buying Ulva through a community buyout. This week we hear from Ulva Estate factor Paul Nicoll about why the island was put up for sale.

Mark meets the first ever dedicated farming minister appointed by The Church of Scotland to help support people in the agricultural industry.

This week has been a big week for sea bird watchers with the news that the first gannets of the season have been spotted near the Bass Rock. Euan headed down to the Scottish Sea Bird Centre in North Berwick to try and spot some.

This time of year sees anglers dig out their waders and rods as rivers open up to Salmon fishing again. Mark went along to the opening of the River Spey at the start of this week to see what all the fuss is about.
