Greater Manchester Police say that the security alert which caused today's match at Old Trafford to be abandoned, was caused by a dummy device left behind by a private company after a training exercise. The Manchester Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd described the situation as outrageous, and has called for a full inquiry.
