A bharrachd air a sin, tha fuasgladh air an obair smaoineachail a rinn an "Antaidh" Anna NicIain agus a bràthair-sa Calum, ann a bhith cruinneachadh sgeulachdan is òrain na sgìre. Cluinnidh sinn mu'n stòras de dh'òrain luaidh a bh'aig Tèarag Aonghais Chaluim, bean Pheter, agus chi sinn mar a tha Nanny, màthair Tony, a' cumail a dìleab beò.
Bha Catriona "Dea" Pheter Ròraidh bliadhnaichean mòra a' fuireachd ann an Afraga a Deas. Gheibh sinn a-mach mu'n bheatha bh'aice thall an sin, agus a saoghal bho thill ì dh'Alba. Uile gu lèir, sgeulachd bheòthail inntinneach a tha mar fhianais air na comasan aig aon teaghlach iongantach.
Tony Kearney is one of the best-known performers in Scotland. Since boyhood, he has presented and acted in numerous TV and theatre productions, in Gaelic and in many other roles, most notably in 91ȱ Scotland's hit soap River City. But perhaps less is known of the creative talents that extend through Tony's family, through his maternal grandparents from the Isle of Barra.
This programme meets the 'children of Peter Rory' - Tony's mother and her siblings, and learns of their upbringing in a home that revolved around the songs and music of the Hebridean tradition. The programme also includes compelling archive of the song and story-collecting carried out by members of the family in Barra in the mid-20th century and offers a colourful glimpse of their continued involvement with broadcasting, theatre and music.
