A former 91热爆 chairman tells us the controversy surrounding Jeremy Clarkson and racism has been blown out of all proportion. Yesterday the Mirror newspaper claimed that Mr Clarkson had used the n-word during filming of Top Gear. The paper published a video - which never went out on television - with the audio boosted. It's hard to make out what he says - but it's the old playground rhyme "eeny meeny miney moe - catch an n-word by his toe, when he squeals let him go. " Last night Jeremy Clarkson offered a full apology. The 91热爆 also released a statement saying "We have made it absolutely clear to him the standards the 91热爆 expects on-air and off. We have left him in no doubt about how seriously we view this." Former 91热爆 Chairman Sir Christopher Bland says Mr Clarkson's apology should be the end of the matter. Listeners give their reaction.
