Katya Virshilas
Katya Virshilas has danced in three series of 91热爆 One鈥檚 hugely successful Strictly Come Dancing, partnering Phil Tufnell, Gavin Henson and Daniel Lobb.听Born in Lithuania, Katya moved with her parents to Israel when she was 6 years old, and then to Vancouver in Canada at the age of 13. She鈥檚 been dancing since she could walk, and competing in dance competitions since she was a teenager. In 2006 she won the Canadian Latin Dance Championships and then competed at the World Championships in听St Petersburg.听She's听coached Hollywood stars Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez for the 2003 film 鈥淪hall We Dance鈥� and danced a tango with Antonio Banderas in the 2006 film 鈥淭ake the Lead鈥�. Now based in the UK, Katya is about to embark on a national tour with fellow "Strictly" dancer Pasha Kovalev.听
