This week, Mark welcomes top Scottish fiddler Duncan Chisholm for a live session. Duncan will be accompanied by two other superb celtic musicians: Jarlath Henderson and Matheu Watson.

Duncan Chisholm is a founder member of the folk rock band Wolfstone and also performs with Ivan Drever and Julie Fowlis. As a solo artist, he has released a trio of beautiful instrumental albums - The Strathglass Trilogy - over the past five years.

In 2013, Duncan was nominated in the Musician of the Year category of the 91热爆 Radio 2 Folk Awards. And on this week's Folk Show, Mark will begin looking ahead to the 15th annual Folk Awards, which take place at the Royal Albert Hall on 19 February 2014.
