The story features an orphan by the name of Ned who鈥檚 brought up in Grimsby. Although he had a tricky start in life he finds himself aboard 鈥楾he Grim鈥� and working as an apprentice fisherman. Drama is never too far away but nevertheless Ned loves life on the boat and takes comfort in an old Viking legend.
