It was an extraordinary story which brought worldwide coverage and reporters streaming to South Ronaldsay in Orkney. In 1991, 9 children were removed from their 4 families following allegations of satanic sexual abuse. The allegations proved completely unfounded and the children were returned home 5 weeks later. One child, now woman, Esther, who came from the infamous 'W' family at the centre of the scandal, believes if she'd only spoken out at the time none of it would have happened.
