This week Good Morning Sunday with Clare Balding comes live from the Greenbelt Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse before an invited audience. Greenbelt is an arts, faith and justice festival which attracts annual attendances of more than 20,000 and this year it's celebrating its 40th anniversary.
American theologian Jim Wallis joins Clare in conversation. He's one of the most influential voices on religion, politics and social justice in the United States today. He's known President Obama since his senator days and has served on the White House Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighbourhood Partnerships. He's a New York Times best-selling author and a regular commentator in many high profile American newspapers. He'll be discussing his new book "On God's Side" which was published in the UK in April.
There are also live music performances from Martyn Joseph, Thea Gilmore and Garth Hewitt.

Jim Wallis
Jim Wallis is one of the most influential voices on religion, politics and social justice in the United States today. A New York Times bestselling author, he recently served on the White House Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships and currently serves as the vice chair of the Global Agenda Council on Values for the World Economic Forum.

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Thea Gilmore is playing at this year's Greenbelt, and is one of Clare's musical guests this morning.

Garth Hewitt
Garth Hewitt sang at the first Greenbelt Festival in 1974 and served on the Greenbelt board for 25 years. This year he's launching his latest album "Liberty is Near!" at the festival听and joins Clare to talk about the story behind it. The album is based on the lyrics of a 19th century Chartist Hymnbook which was recently听rediscovered and which Garth has put to music.

Cardiff鈥檚 charismatic and unstoppable Martyn Joseph,听'The Welsh Springsteen' continues to garner fans everywhere with his singular musical brew of roots-folk-blues-rock, which Bob Harris described as 'stunning and heartfelt'.听He won the Best Male Artist title in the 91热爆 Welsh Music Awards whilst There鈥檚 Always Maybe won the global Independent Music Awards Best Folk Song category.
