Bettany Hughes
Bettany Hughes is an award-winning historian, author and broadcaster. Her television credits for the聽91热爆 include聽Divine Women, The 7 Wonders of the Buddhish World and The Day Jesus Died. Her first book Helen of Troy: Goddess, Princess, Whore was published to critical acclaim and has now been translated into ten languages. Her latest work The Hemlock Cup - Socrates, Athens and the Search for the Good Life was a New York Times bestseller.
Next month Bettany Hughes presents聽a new 91热爆 Radio 4 series "The Ideas That Make Us" in which she explores the history of the ideas that make us human. The series starts on 16th September.

Emma Stevens is a multi instrumentalist聽and along with writing, has also sung and played guitar, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, piano, percussion and cello on her EPs "Heart on Hand" and "Dreaming Trees". Her single "A Place Called You" is currently on the Radio 2 playlist and her album is out in September.
