Tatiana's resolve is tested when a familiar face returns looking for help. Work pressures threaten Robbie and Will's first day in the flat. Hayley's search for love continues.
Silvie is back on the streets of Shieldinch and, with Sean on her tail, she's desperate for Tatiana's help. But Tattie's not feeling so charitable after her experience last month. At the Health Centre Silvie is checked over by Dan and she claims she wants to get away from her old life. With Dan's encouragement, Tattie bargains with Silvie and offers to let her stay if she talks to the police this time. But when Will and the DCI come to talk to her, Silvie clams up and isn't brave enough to point the finger at Sean. A disappointed Tattie is torn but resolute when she sends Silvie out onto the streets again. Meanwhile, Sean's on the prowl and demands Gabriel help him find his runaway. When Gabriel finds poor Silvie hiding in the backcourts, he warns her that Sean's on the lookout, gives her some cash and tells her to get out of town. Despairing, she immediate goes out to buy herself more drugs. Back at Shieldinch, Sean clocks Tattie at the health centre and gets one of his henchmen to stand and wait for a glimpse of Silvie. Tattie has no luck looking for a hostel for Silvie and fears the worst when Silvie appears in the Health Centre and collapses. Dan and Tattie work together to save her from an overdose. Guilt-ridden for sending her away, Tattie persuades a reluctant Molly to let her stay the night. Molly grills Silvie at the house but gets a shock when Sean appears at the door looking for his 'little sister.' Molly manages to stand up to Sean and send him on his way but she's shaken up and tells Silvie that she can stay to get away from that animal. Tattie is anxious not to include Christina in this situation and sends her to stay the night with Nicole. Furious, Christina bad mouths to Nicole about jakey Silvie taking her bed until Nicole makes her see it could so easily have happened to her when she was with Cammy. Meanwhile, Molly confides in Lenny and gets really scared when he refuses to help them with Sean but advises they go to the Police. She tries to tell Will but gets the brush off. Back at the house, Tattie awkwardly avoids an argument with BOB, who is not happy to find Silvie back in the house, and tries to hide the fact that she didn't value his opinion. Tattie makes Silvie as comfortable as she can and assures her that she will help her change her life for the better. But when Sean steals Silvie away in the night, the O'Haras discover an empty bed the next morning and Tattie is left feeling completely helpless. Where has Silvie gone?
Will and Robbie are moving in when Will is called into work to follow up on the murder investigation and makes Robbie promise not to finish without him. When Tattie calls to say that Silvie is willing to talk, Will rushes in to follow up the lead but is frustrated when Silvie is too scared to give him anything on Sean. Sent on a wild goose chase by Gabriel, Will ignores Molly and is in a foul mood when he arrives home to find Robbie has unpacked everything. Storming out, he allows himself time to cool off and is later reminded why he loves Robbie when he witnesses his enthusiasm for their new house in front of his friends. They kiss and make up.
Hayley isn't at all impressed with the men on her dating sites until Deek lets slip that he's got ten dates to himself. Desperate to find a dude, she's even more depressed when she tries to make a date and gets knocked back by FHM-loving Mike and goes to Iona for support. But she is less than impressed when Iona brings along her hunky new boss Tom, especially when he lets slips his less than flattering view of hairdressers. Men! She complains to Robbie and they both bemoan Iona's taste in men. But is that a glint in Hayley's eye?
