Stevie decides to clean up his act, but when the reality of withdrawal hits home can he resist the lure of his demons? Old jealousies threaten to come between Tatiana and Big Bob.

Stevie is having hard time coming down but is determined to stay clean. He goes to see Dan who wants to run some test before putting him on methadone. A suspicious Michael sees Stevie come out of the Dan's office. Dan won't talk to Michael about it, reminding him of his oath, but Michael sneaks a look at Stevie's patient file and sees that Stevie is back using. Leyla notices Michael's furtive behaviour, but he refuses to talk to her. When Michael arrives home to find Stevie with Nicole he asks after Stevie's health. When Nicole is out of earshot, Michael tells Stevie he knows the truth and warns him off. Stevie feels shaky and heads to the Ship where Eileen and Raymond tell him to go up to bed. Michael vents to Gabriel about how unsuitable Stevie is for Nicole, but Gabriel warns that Nicole has to find that out for herself. Gabriel and Leyla hatch a plan to get Stevie and Michael talking over dinner. Michael interrogates Stevie over dinner but the withdrawal symptoms kick in and force Stevie to leave, pretending that he has a bug. Nicole is furious at her Dad. Stevie rushes to the Health Centre but Dan refuses to give him methadone. Raymond won't serve him a pint so he heads out and finds Cammy, who gives him a wee bag which he takes. Stevie ODs, Nicole finds him and takes him to her dad who saves Stevie's life and gets him to the hospital. It unifies Daddy and daughter, but Leyla feels left out.

Bib Bob and Tattie are walking on eggshells around each other and Christina has had enough. Tattie knows she's right and agrees to get off work early so that she and Big Bob can sort out their problems. At work, Tattie tries to reconcile the practice bank statement but notices some odd transaction. She asks Dan about them and he pleads with her not to mention it to anyone else. Tattie tells Big Bob that she has to work in the afternoon but she promises to get back asap. He then sees Tattie and Dan go to the Tall Ship and is initially suspicious but puts it to the back of his mind. Tattie and Dan work out a way to explain away the payments but she confronts him about his gambling. Dan confides that he had been gambling because he needed money to repay Lenny Murdoch but he promises everything is sorted now. Tattie promises to keep the secret but she will watch him from now on. Big Bob challenges Tattie over spending time alone with Dan and she admits she lied because she was worried he would be suspicious. They agree that they need to sort the relationship. That night, Dan meets Lenny and gives him back the money he owes. But Lenny wants 5k interest - in a week.

Bob has a wedding magazine lying around the flat but Stella isn't interested. Robbie and later Scarlett see the magazines and both are intent on helping arrange the wedding despite Bob's protests. Stella tells Bob she wants to think about it first before getting anyone else involved, and Bob cannot bring himself to tell her that two people are separately working on it. Bob works hard to try to get Robbie and Scarlett to stop with their preparations but they both decide he is just reluctant to ask for help. At the singles flat, both Scarlett and Robbie pitch their visions for the wedding to Bob. They squabble as they try to put each other's ideas down. When Stella walks in, Bob is worried she will explode but she finds the whole thing funny and touching and Scarlett and Robbie are embarrassed by their childish squabbling.
