Described by the New York Times as a Manhattan Institution, and now relocated to Scotland, inspirational poet and raconteur Lach tries to find his feet in Edinburgh.

1/1
He's described by the New York Times as a Manhattan Institution, The Guardian said he was face ache funny but who is this mysterious character that has chosen to move his family to Scotland's capital city?

He's a songwriter, a poet, a raconteur and he ran the longest running open mic night in the history of the Lower East Side! He discovered Beck, Jeff Buckley, Regina Spektor, the Moldy Peaches and many more over the years. He's a Simon Cowell for the counter culture.

With contributions from Suzanne Vega, Dean Friedman, Michelle Shocked and host of others we find out exactly who Lach is and find out just how bumpy the ride has been from the Lower East Side of New York to the New Town in Edinburgh.
