A former Conservative peer who's recently been released from prison after falsely claiming over thirteen thousand pounds in expenses from the House of Lords has told Victoria Derbyshire on 5live the last two years have been "absolute hell." In his first broadcast interview since getting out of jail, Lord Hanningfield apologised for what he had done, saying he had thrown himself too much into his work and not given enough time to think about his own expenses.
