Bob's wedding day arrives but will he go through with it? Annie returns from a romantic holiday with Charlie but a shock is in store for her. Zinnie manipulates Conor and Nicole.
It's the day of Big Bob's wedding to Tatiana, but all he can think about is that kiss! The kiss he shared with Iona last night. After everything they've been through she kissed him the night before his wedding. And more to the point, he kissed her back. What does it all mean? As wedding preparations go on around him, Bob does his best to get involved but Christina notices how distracted he seems and her curiosity is piqued.
Iona, like Bob, is distracted and seems almost unfazed by the fact that their flat was broken into the previous night. Her flatmates, meanwhile, are a little more unsettled. Stella barely slept after walking in and disturbing the burglar. Charlie and Annie, fresh from their holiday, are bemused as to why their flat was trashed but nothing taken. It's creepy. Stella picks up on Iona's distracted state and assumes it's anxiety about the break-in. But when the pair are alone Iona confesses that she and Bob shared a kiss last night. Shocked, Stella reminds Iona that Bob is getting married that day. Iona says it didn't seem to bother him last night. He kissed her just as much as she kissed him. But her head's mince and she doesn't know what to think about it all. She needs to talk to him.
Stella helps organise a rendezvous in the beer garden and when Bob arrives Iona pours her heart out. She realises now what she threw away when she broke up with him. They should be together. Bob is stunned and confused. Iona tells him to think about it and hugs him. They share another kiss, but this one is witnessed by Christina who is out searching for the errant groom.
Horrified, Christina fears that her dream of a happy, stable life might be lost. She decides to confront Iona and tells her to back off. Big Bob is happy. They're all happy. Why is Iona so determined to ruin that? If she cares about Big Bob at all she'll leave him alone and let him get on with his life. In her passionate plea Christina lets slip that Bob is going to be a dad. Tatiana is pregnant. She reveals that Bob doesn't know but Tatiana is planning to surprise him with the news after the wedding. Iona is left reeling.
Bob seeks Iona out to tell her he's made a decision - she's right, they should be together. With the weight of Tatiana's pregnancy on her conscience, Iona does the right thing and lets Bob go. She tells him that she's been thinking, and maybe they're not meant to be together. Bob is hurt and furious, convinced Iona has just been playing with his feelings the whole time. Despite her protestations, he storms off telling her to stay away from him. Gutted, Iona watches him head off to get married.
Bob goes through with the wedding and Tatiana breaks the happy news to him at the reception that she's pregnant. He's overjoyed, but when he catches sight of a sad Iona in the crowd it all clicks in to place. She knew about the baby. And she let him go. He's going to be a dad, which means it really is time they both moved on, eh? The line's been drawn and he knows she's right. He wraps her up in a big bear hug and then heads back inside to his family. Iona gives him a big brave smile but as the door shuts her smile and courage disappear and she's left alone.
Annie has returned full of renewed purpose after her holiday with Charlie. Determined to get out of her rut she's on the lookout for a project. If only there was some kind of event going on that she could get her teeth in to. Like a wedding. As soon as she hears that Big Bob and Tatiana are having a low-key, no fuss wedding in the Ship, she's determined to show that low-key and low budget doesn't necessarily mean low rent.
Annie throws herself in to wedding planner mode, taking over the decorating of the Tall Ship pool room as well as the catering. But as she buzzes around Montego Street putting her plans in motion she fails to notice the presence of Eileen's new boyfriend Sandy lurking around every corner. The wedding is a great success and Annie is delighted, but her joy is shortlived when she bumps into creepy Sandy in the hallway, and it's clear that he's a face from her past. And not a welcome one.
Meanwhile, in the Brodie household, Michael is pressurising Nicole to finish a project for her tutor before the end of the day while Conor has developed a bit of a crush on his hot, pseudo stepcousin Zinnie. When she expresses a wish to get her hands on a brooch from Hola, a misguided Conor sees an opportunity to impress Zinnie and steals the brooch when he's at work. Amber's no fool though and quickly figures out what's going on when the brooch goes missing the same afternoon Zinnie was in trying to barter for it. Amber calls Michael to the shop to reveal the theft. She doesn't want Conor punished but she does think Michael should look further afield if he wants to blame someone. She tips him off about Zinnie, and Michael heads home to confront her.
At home, he rails at Leyla about Zinnie and Leyla does her best to defend her niece, revealing to Michael that Zinnie'
