Nicolas Sarkozy, the French president, gave his finance ministers a week to devise new measures to cut France's budget deficit, as shares in the country's banks plummeted in the latest bout of market turmoil. We speak to Simon Maughan, banking analyst from MF Global. Pictures of the UK's riots have been beamed around the world to hundreds of millions. We ask, how has this affected the UK, in view of hosting the 2012 Games? We are joined by Chris Foy, Head of the 2012 Games at Visit Britain. The latest News Corp results are out for the past quarter, and they are not looking as robust as usual. Time for a Murdoch to go? Theresa Wise, media analyst from T Wise Consulting explains more.
