We look at the latest NIESR warning, Northen Rock's half yearly results and an interesting change in copyright laws.

One of Britain's leading economic think tanks, The National Institute for Economic and Social Research, has warned George Osborne that he is on course to miss his ambitious forecasts for slashing Britain's budget deficit. Simon Kirby, an economist at National Institute of Economic and Social Research joins us. Northern Rock plc, the "good" part of the bank that when nationalised proceeded with no toxic assets, announces its half yearly figures later. Chris Skinner, banking analyst at Balatro Group joins us. In a few hours the Business Secretary, Vince Cable, is expected to say he's going to sweep away stringent UK copyright laws that currently, make it illegal to transfer CD collections on to other household devices. Andy Heath, Chairman of UK Music joins us.
