As the Trades Union Congress begins in Manchester, Nicky and Shelagh speak to the TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber about his upcoming address, and Cabinet Office Minister Francis Maude.

The British Red Cross says children need to learn first aid skills to help friends who become dangerously drunk. First aid expert Joe Mulligan says every young person should be given the skills to be able to cope in a crisis.
