Petroc Trelawny introduces Russian violinist Viktoria Mullova at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Schubert: Sonata in A, D574; Rondo brillant in B minor. Beethoven: Kreutzer Sonata.

In the first of her concerts as the Queen Elizabeth Hall's Artist in Focus, Russian violinist Viktoria Mullova performs a concert of Schubert and Beethoven on her Guadagnini violin with gut strings. She's accompanied by Kristian Bezuidenhout on the fortepiano. She begins with Schubert's Duo Sonata in A major, before his virtuosic Rondo brillant. This is followed by Beethoven's Violin Sonata in E flat, and the ever popular Kreutzer Sonata.
