Brian Matthew quizzes Sonny and Cher on the difficulties of being a married duo in 1965.
Brian is sat next to me, recalling the American stars he interviewed back in the sixties - the , , and ("he was always incredibly co-operative and friendly right from the word go, and remained that way for the rest of his life - he was lovely"). When Brian learns that the 91热爆 still has Brian made in the sixties and seventies there is a sharp intake of breath - "Good gracious! Oh, that's good."

I then ask him if he ever met , and he becomes particularly animated.
"Yes! Yes. Ummm, that's right. I met them and in those days they were peculiarly dressed, I must say, with their sort of hippie gear. She was beautiful, and I fell madly in love with her from the word go. I told her years later... and she couldn't stop laughing."
Brian asked them, back in 1965, how easy it was to work together as husband and wife - they were certainly different times. "I don't have any recollection of the content of the interview, I'm afraid... it was just rather exciting to meet them."
